Like many Christian organizations, the American bible Society believes there is potential for confusion arising from the book and move by Dan Brown, The DaVinci Code. To reaise these concerns and to remind readers of the book and viewers of the movie that it is both non-biblical and fictional, ABS commissioned the creation of thecodeisfiction.com, a place to get the facts about the Da Vinci Code move and book.

The site consists of a series of articles, a device for the submission of additional articles from the public, a form to signup to receive updates as the site evolves over time and interviews with biblical scholars.
